Presented the Gold Guide – The Wines of Veronelli 2021 in Bergamo. With a pleasant tasting at the Milano Wine Week, the Veronelli Seminar unveiled the Best Tastings, the first awards awarded by the Gold Guide the Wines of Veronelli 2021.
This year the Guide prize went to five masterpieces produced in Südtirol, Trentino, Tuscany e Puglia, true leaders of the Italian wine sector, identifying with the highest rating in cents in the respective typology.
In this particularly troubled and difficult year, the city of Bergamo was chosen as a presentation of the Gold Guide; the city where Veronelli Seminary is located and where Luigi Veronelli has lived for a long time. This choice also motivates the close proximity to the city of Bergamo, a territory particularly affected by the epidemic from Covid-19.
In this sense, the collaboration with Academy Carrara, cultural excellence that summarizes the best Bergamo and its territory have to offer: the dialogue between land table and culture, deeply rooted in the thought of Veronelli and in the projects of the Seminar, finds a further and prestigious declination.
For the first time, we also wanted to take part in this important tasting, which was also a good success for our Prosecco Sui Nui. We wanted to ring to the tasting table two DOCG Valdobbiadene: Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry and Prosecco Superiore Brut Millesimato and a Treviso DOC, Prosecco Extra Dry Millesimato.
